what is the best way to treat a dog with a skin problem?

Question by Haylee: what is the best way to treat a dog with a skin problem?

My dog has a skin problem and she gets all greasy. We bathe her almost every day but she is is still greasy and we don’t want to buy any expensive products. Help please!

Answer by walking ladyThe best and only way to treat it is a trip to the vet. If your dog has seborrhea, you need to find the underlying cause and treat that. You’re definitely making her problem worse with that terrible over-bathing. You chose to get a dog, dogs are a privilege and with that comes providing vet care. Your dog needs the vet.
